Various and Sundry Things: Second Wedding Anniversary

Hard to believe that tomorrow I am celebrating my second Wedding Anniversary.  This year brought many different challenges than the first year and I am proud to say that I am the happiest I have been in our entire (6 year) relationship.

The theme of this year has definitely been support.  We both faced layoffs, new jobs,  and have been working on figuring out our career paths.  It has been stressful to say the least, but without each others support along the way I don’t know how we would have done it.  We have worked hard as a couple to overcome these challenges and changes and have learned how to be there for each other when times get hard.  I am so lucky to have someone that supports me, calms me down when I get stressed out, and works so hard to make me happy.

I was going through wedding pictures yesterday and I found this little montage that I would like to share.  I was so worried that I was going to get caked smashed in my face because he joked so far ahead of time that he was going to smash it-he likes to get a rise out of me.  I told him that if he did I was going to be SOOOO MAD and that I was hyphenating my name (which he was against).  In each picture you see my eyes change from a glare “I will cut you!” to “Good boy.”
