Threads: Utility Jacket

Based on the time of year, I would think I was a little late on this topic; however, judging by the weather as of late, I would say I am on par…. With the weather being so touch and go lately, I have found myself realizing more and more how much I am in need a nice utility jacket. Before moving north I never understood the need to have half a closet full of jackets with varying insulation levels. Now I understand!!! I love these jackets because of their versatility and stylish silhouette; they are perfect for that month and a half where the weather teeters between 55 to 75 degrees (ahemm April-May). Another major selling point is the fact that most are tailored to a loose fit, so you can layer under these bad boys. Let’s face it; this time of year being able to layer is pretty vital. Here are a few that have recently caught my eye…now what can I get rid of to make room for one in my tiny Manhattan closet….
