Dwellings: Outdoor Chandeliers

Sorry this is getting to you later in the day than usual. I just got back into the office after a long weekend home for a wedding. So I have been playing catch-up. But back to the wedding… it was held on a plantation in Pawley’s Island, SC, everything was beautifully put together. I also love any occasion that calls for all of my college friends to collect themselves in the same vicinity.

Because the wedding was on a plantation the bride opted to let the natural setting be more of the background of the wedding and opted to downplay the actual decorations. However, one of the more stunning features (besides the plantation itself) was the outdoor chandelier that served as the main focal point of the reception. I must say I have always loved outdoor chandeliers at weddings, however, I have found myself trying to find reasons to incorporate them into other occasions (birthdays, showers) or just serve as a decorative feature in your home/backyard.

Here are some great inspiration ideas for a whimsical wedding…

I love the idea of using a more rustic looking outdoor chandelier to personalize the space!

Those all look so cool! Make your back yard cozy in one flip of the switch!

    • I know right! We went to a wedding of a sorority sister who had them up and it looked incredible. I think it is a necessity for a backyard 🙂 Thanks for reading!
