Threads: Tulle My Loo

I became mildly infatuated with long tulle skirts about a year ago, and since then you could say it has grown to an unhealthy obsession. I have scoured the interwebs, foregoing sleep to find the perfect gem, and for the longest time it evaded me. Then one day this past fall while getting my daily dose (FACT) of Anthropologie, I found it. It had just arrived and I had to HAVE it. So did the most rationale thing I could think of…tell myself, Jessica this item is clearly going to fly off of the shelf and you can’t let that happen, so I bought it. I often walk around my apartment in said skirt, but have yet to muster the courage to wear it outside. So recently I have turned to Pinterest to get some inspiration, and feel in love with this outfit. So I have challenged myself to: 1. Come up with something similar and 2. Actually wear it. I am thinking this could be perfect for this spring. Please note the Anthropolgie skirt has since sold out, but I found a delightful one on Etsy…..

  1. LOVE this outfit. It is my #1 repin on pinterest! Not quite sure that someone 5-9″ could pull it off but I”m not saying I won’t try 🙂

  2. I hear you. I am 5′ 2″ and everything makes me look squatty, but I am determined to make it work. Melissa is 5′ 11″, so maybe she would be a better resource. Also the skirt is custom so maybe they would make it longer…~jessica
