Dwellings: Console Me

I had already been planning on writing a post on console tables when I came across this article. If you remember back in the Spring with I did a post on Architect Digest’s Home Design Show, and my friend’s award winning display…well the article is featuring the owner of the design company where she works. He has some great advice on selecting the perfect piece, which is really important in Manhattan where most pieces of furniture have to be multifunctional. Here are some inspirational ways of incorporating console tables into your home as well as a few pieces I may or may not have fallen in love with (lately I find myself gravitating toward any piece that is mirrored)…

  1. Thanks for posting! Just the inspiration I need today! I just finished some DIY artwork for my diningroom, and want to do a console table on that wall. Great samples! xxx Kristin

    • Thanks so much. I actually just bought an antique piece to use as a console table. I am really excited about incorporating it into our home.
