Threads: Chambray Shirt

Not going to lie, it took me a while to decide if I was on board with the whole chambray shirt trend. I think I was so hesitant because I really dislike how it looks with blue jeans, too Canadian Tuxedoesque for me. For those of you who don’t know that is a blue jeans and blue jean jacket combo.

With some support from others, I decided to take the plunge, and I am very happy I did. It is one of the most versatile shirts that I own, and it is so comfortable! It is extremely easy to dress up or down. It is also great by itself, or as a layering piece for those (still) cold DC mornings. If you haven’t given in a bought a Chambray shirt, I suggest you should. The best part is you can find an awesome one for under $100.

  1. I have also been iffy, but I think you have convinced me that Chambray needs to be in my life.

    • I’m telling you, I was really against it…but I love it now. You can wear it with anything! I got mine at H & M for ~$30ish.
