Dwellings: Arch Digest Home Design Show

Last Friday Architecture Digest hosted their Home Design Show at Pier 94 here in Manhattan. Since my boo is going to back to school to peruse his dream of architecture we thought it would be an exciting event to check out! Also one of my close girlfriends here in the city helped design one of the one of the exhibit, which won the Top Pick 2012 Award (Super proud!). I mean really, who doesn’t love a two-fa? Here are some of our favorites from the show.

Who knew a Slinky was so multi-functional?

The New York Design Center had an exhibit which decorated chairs to match the personalities of dead celebrities, and pretty much nailed it. Here are some of my favs!

We were also really impressed with Royal Mail Stamp Rugs, which also got a shout out from Apartment Therapy this week as well! I would die to have one of these gems for my apartment.

This pink rug was so stunning. I stood there in awe (there might have been drool) for a solid five minutes.
