Various and Sundry Things: DVF

Diane Von Furstenburg was already a staple within the fashion industry long before Kate Middleton made a splash with that signature green wrap dress. From the beginning she has always been a constant example of how to embrace one’s femininity with style and a bold print.

Her personal style translates perfectly to her collection; creating a following of many celebrities, a first lady, and a princess (which she herself used to be-no big deal). In addition to having an amazing clothes line, the woman dedicates her time and voice to the fashion fund. An organization aimed to help up and coming designers. Oh and her dwellings, which where just featured in Architectural Digest, blow me away. I pretty much just want to be her. Here a few examples why.

These are just a few of my favorites from her Spring 2012 collection. Let’s be honest I want them all, but if I had to choose only a few I would settle for these…

Diane’s home is located in the lively Meatpacking district in Manhattan, and it is pretty much   perfection. I love the bold use of color paired with various patterns. The woman is not afraid to make a statement in every  aspect of her life. LOVE IT!
