Feed Me: Biscuits and Sausage Gravy

Delicious…. Simple…. Crowd Pleasing….Comfort Food…..Did I mention delicious? A southern favorite that is super easy to add to your brunch menu. Only a few ingredients needed to whip up a batch.

Ingredients: Servings 4

1lb Sausage

1/4 Cup of Flour

2 Cups of Milk

Biscuits- I made semi homemade biscuits with a recipe from Trader Joe’s

Directions

Brown the sausage and break into smaller pieces. Do not drain the liquid.

Once the meat is fully cooked, add 1/4 cup of flour. Stir until the flour is blended in, on medium heat.

Add 2 cups of cold milk, slowly to the sausage mixture.

Stir and cook until the the flour/milk become thicker.

I used baking flour mix from Trader Joe’s to make my biscuits. They were super fluffy and delicious. I topped a few with brown sugar for a sweet treat.

Voila!
