Dwellings: Personal Paradise-The Grounds

On weekends you can typically find me being held hostage by DIY’s Yard Crashers. I generally love the results and feel all sorts of inspired to one day add my own personal to my own yard. Never mind the fact that I have a gangrene thumb or my concept of yard work is cementing the entire space and laying down Astroturf. My Astroturf is going to look AWESOME! It will also incorporated some natural element of the space (I know a bit of a contradiction, but I am a low maintenance kind of gal). It will also include some sort of water feature. Here a couple things I envision in the space.

This backyard is reminiscent of the homes in Austin, TX. (Oh, Austin how I miss you and your food).

These grounds are so rustic looking. I could spend my life here eating croissants and crepes.

Not the biggest fan of snow, but I could get used to this view.

. Italy how you toy with my emotions. One day I will visit you, and perhaps never leave…

I love this setup; it reminds me so much of summer nights at home.

Speaking of home. Now that is a backyard.
