Dwellings: Muddin’

In light of the recent weather here in NYC. I am of course referring to the 1.5 days of winter we just recently endured. It seems as though our first snow of year may have conjured up more slush than usual. This of course reminds me of how lovely it would be to have a mud room to contain Mother Nature’s less attractive features.  Growing up in the South I was always enchanted by the lovely photos of homes with mud rooms that were more typical in homes in the North East. While, I may not have one at this moment rest assured when I do finally purchase a home one of these bad boys will be a MUST. So for now I just like to peruse images of other homes to pick out the details I wanted included in my future home. Here are a few of my favorites.

I’d love a real mudroom like one of these too, for the same reason as you; to contain Mother Nature’s less attractive features. That first one is exactly what I’d like!! Thanks for finding these…

  2. You are very welcome and stay tuned. Tomorrow I plan on sharing some salvaged/craiglist finds to furnish a DIY mud room. Happy reading.
