Bookshelves-For More Than Just Books

While bookshelves are extremely functional for displaying collections of books, they also provide an area to showcase personal style.  The greatest thing is that they aren’t permanent. It is fun to rearrange and switch out pieces as you find new books and interesting objects to show.

This is my bookshelf….Filled with pictures and neat things that my husband and I have accumulated over the years. A piece of drift wood from when we lived in Texas; a pitcher that belonged to my husband’s grandmother; a vase and bowl we received as wedding gifts; a Home Depot Helmet signed by all of the College Game Day reporters; and of course books and cookbooks that we love.

Here are some bookshelves that I found that were great for getting ideas, and inspiration for creating your own personal bookshelf space. Sometimes the design of the book shelf is interesting enough. Enjoy!
